Cade R. Cole
Biography: Cade served as a Law Clerk to Justice Jeannette Theriot Knoll of the Louisiana Supreme Court before entering private practice in Lake Charles.
Cade is currently the Magistrate Judge of the DeQuincy City Court, Vinton’s Town Attorney, and
is a board member of the Louisiana Energy and Power Authority.
In January 2013, Cade was appointed by the Governor to be a member of the Louisiana Board of
Tax Appeals, and he currently serves as its Vice-Chairman. He is a Board Certified Tax Law Specialist by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization.
Cade previously served by appointment of the Louisiana Supreme Court as Justice of the Peace
for Calcasieu Parish, Ward 6. He has also served, since 2001, as Vice-President of the Board of
Calcasieu Parish Gravity Drainage District 6. Cade is also former member of the Louisiana State Serve Commission, having been appointed by Governor Mike Foster.
Cade was awarded the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association’s 2013 Outstanding Service Award.
